WELCOME TO THE SOUTHEAST MICHIGAN DISTRICT WEB SITE!

The USTA - Southeast Michigan District is the local district of the United States Tennis Association - the national governing body of tennis in the U.S. We are one of 14 districts that comprise the Midwest Section (headquartered in Indianapolis). We are a not-for-profit organization committed to tennis and Growing the Game.

The Southeast Michigan District is made up of the following Counties of Michigan: Hillsdale, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, St. Clair, Washtenaw and Wayne. Over 10,000 youth and adults are members of our District.

Midwest Boys Capture USTA Winter National Championships

Jared Hiltzik, 17, of Wilmette, Ill., won the boys’ 18s title at the 2011 USTA Winter National Championships on Monday, and Paul Oosterbaan, a 16-year-old from Kalamazoo, Mich., captured the USTA Boys’ 16s title. Many of the nation’s top junior tennis players competed in eight USTA National Championships in five cities last week. Read More
 

USTA League Announces Restructuring

USTA League is changing its structure and format for the 2013 National Championships, which affects many League seasons in 2012. Gone are the monikers "Senior" (50 & over) and "Super Senior" (60 & over), replaced instead by a more representative grouping based on age. Read More
