Tri-Level-Tennis

Are you ready for Tri-Level?

If you have a team & captain name, please forward to me for a team number.

Plans are to run this on Monday & Wednesday nights in August.  We will have a quick 6 match season.  Teams will play 2 matches per week.

  • Team numbers available now
  • Registration fees are $16 per player
  • Minimums due July 29th – minimum 6 players and must include 1-4.5, 1-4.0, 1-3.5
  • Court availability due July 30th – we will work around any 55 & over matches
  • Matches begin Monday, August 13th
  • Last matches Wednesday, August 29th
  • Team matches are 3 courts of doubles – Best 2 out of 3 sets with 3rd set tiebreaker played if split sets
  • Match fees are $15 per player - $90 per match
  • Age to play is 18 & Over

Since this is a short season, there are few different administrative rules for this league:

  • Matches may not be rescheduled
  • All outdoor teams must have indoor back up for the same night of play
  • Matches are played twice per week – Monday & Wednesday
  • If playoffs are required, they will be held later in the Fall prior to the Midwest Championships

Southeast Michigan Champion advances to Midwest Championships November 17-18 Homewood IL.

Midwest Champions advance to the National Invitational in the spring of 2019 at Indian Wells.

Matches will be played on these dates:

Monday                August 13

Wednesday           August 15

Monday                August 20

Wednesday           August 22

Monday                August 27

Wednesday           August 29

Team rosters must include players with 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 ratings.

Ideally this is how the doubles teams would be set up:

Court #1 = 4.5 player & 4.5 player

Court #2 = 4.0 player & 4.0 player

Court #3 – 3.5 player & 3.5 player

An example of an acceptable format for doubles teams would be:

Court #1 = 4.5 player & 4.0 player (no 3.5 players)

Court #2 = 4.0 player & 3.5 player (no 3.0 players)

Court #3 = 3.5 player & 3.0 player (no 2.5 players)

Players may only play up 1 level from their rating & their partner must be the correct playing level.

Please let me know if you have any questions!
