The USTA Adult Leagues are a national adult recreational tennis program for men and women players from novice to advanced ability levels. The leagues offer singles and doubles team competition from the local, district and sectional levels, culminating with a National Championship played in one of several locations.
The USTA Adult League Program is open to all players, ages 18 and over, who are members of the USTA and whose playing skills meet the eligibility standards of any one of seven levels of play as defined by the Dynamic National Tennis Ranking Program. These seven levels of play are: Open, 5.0, 4.5, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0, and 2.5. There are also super senior (over 60), senior (over 50) divisions in the 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5 levels, senior mixed doubles, and mixed doubles at the combined levels of 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and 9.0. Any one player may participate in the three different areas: Adult, Senior and Mixed Leagues.
The USTA Adult League Program provides players with the opportunity to improve their tennis skills, meet other players, and participate in championship events in a highly organized tennis program.
